Can I donate clothes or toys?
We only accept donations of money to help
defray the cost of new toys that we purchase
for the boys and girls. Our organization uses
its long-standing relationships with toy
manufacturers and distributors to get
popular, high-quality toys at discount prices.
The gifts distributed would cost at least 50%
more at retail, in which case we would not be
able to serve all the children that we do every
year.

Why does my credit card statement show I
made a donation to GiveDirect and not the
Empty Stocking Fund?
To help keep administrative costs down, we
use a third party to process our online
donations. GiveDirect is the company that
processes all of our online donations.
However, your receipt for tax purposes will
show that donation was made to the Empty
Stocking Fund.
Is your office open year round?
Yes, we have two employees that work
full-time, year round. We also accept
donations year round. Our office hours
are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.

What counties do you serve?
We serve the following counties in metro
Atlanta: Clayton, Cobb,DeKalb, Douglas,
Fayette, Fulton County (including the City
of Atlanta), Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale.

Is my donation Tax Deductible?
Yes, the Empty Stocking Fund is a
501(c)3 non-profit organization and
donations are tax-deductible. Our Federal
ID# is 23-7159125.
