In 2018, children from birth through 12 years of age who live in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry or Rockdale counties and receive any form of public assistance including CAPS, Medicaid, Peach Care, SSI, SNAP and TANF are eligible to receive gifts from The Empty Stocking Fund.
Online pre-registration is now closed but you may still come to Santa’s Village to receive gifts for your children.
Bring proof of public assistance benefits for all children for whom you are picking up gifts and a photo ID to Santa’s Village (see location information and hours of operation to the right). Proof of public assistance benefits varies depending on the type of benefits your children receive. Regardless, the notice must be from a state or Federal agency like DFCS or SSI, must be current, and must include names for all children for whom you will be shopping.
You may show proof on your mobile device by logging into www.gateway.ga.gov. For Medicaid and Food Stamps, click on ‘View Details’ and a list of eligible children will appear with their birth dates.
Children are welcome at Santa’s Village but do not have to be with you to receive gifts.
The last day to receive gifts is Saturday, Dec. 22nd.
