Along with the support from generous donors, The Empty Stocking Fund functions
smoothly thanks to the hard, unfailing work of two (yep, you read that right) employees.

Manda Hunt

Executive Director

Manda has nearly 20 years of marketing communications and public relations experience from companies like Jackson Spalding, MagnetBank and even her own PR company. She began working with The Empty Stocking Fund in 2004, and in 2010, she took over as executive director. Each year, Manda fearlessly leads The Empty Stocking Fund toward success, from budgeting and financial reporting to toy and gift sourcing to volunteer coordination and fundraising. Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Manda has lived in Atlanta since 2000 and is an avid (and admittedly obnoxious) Florida State Seminoles fan.

Rick Harris

Director of Program Services

Rick has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Program Services. His experience started in the late 1980s working for Fulton County Government, as a Facility Director in South-Fulton County’s Parks and Recreation Department. He joined The Empty Stocking Fund in 1990 when Santa’s Village was operating out of the basement of City Hall East. Rick is responsible for the daily operations at Santa's Village. Rick and his wife, Heide, are the proud parents of three beautiful children—Haley, Tristian and Dylan.
